The nose is delicately fragrant, floral and spicy. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, morello cherry, wild blackberry, blackcurrant, as well as blackberry and morello cherry jam, combined with sweet notes of mint chocolate, licorice, black pepper, roasted aromatic herbs (thyme, bay leaf) and flowers (violet, cornflower). On the palate, the wine offers roundness and a soft, creamy texture. It expresses notes of morello cherry, black plum, blackberry and wild strawberry, combined with delicate touches of licorice, mint chocolate and sweet coffee. We also find the flavors of plum juice, peony and violet (in the background). The tannic structure is well constructed, distinguished, firm and velvety. Beautiful freshness and acidity on the finish. The finish is persistent, fruity and ample, with notes of fresh and tangy red fruits.
