Domaine Vindemio, Cuvée Amadeus 2020, Ventoux

A shiny ruby cherry colour. The nose has great depth, releasing a subtle, elegant floral fragrance of roses. They add contrast to a massive whole that needs to be awakened. On the palate, it doesn’t take long for the whole to reveal itself, with a lovely juice of finely spicy red and black fruits. There is a lot of gourmandise and opulence throughout this wine. There’s also a lovely freshness before the finish, which increases the length of the palate and balances it out beautifully. White and black pepper come together subtly, before gradually melting away, leaving us with an impression of freshness and coherence. The tannins are finely spicy and mellow. A wine that can be enjoyed now or laid down. A very fine wine!
