The nose is fresh, racy, quite aromatic and offers a small complexity. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, juicy/ripe cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of pulpy cherry, plum blossom as well as slight hints of liquorice, nutmeg, a discreet hint of white pepper. The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, a good definition, tension, a certain straightness, a certain aromatic purity as well as a beautiful energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of violet, lily, toasted hazelnut, nutmeg as well as fine hints of cardamom, a subtle grilled hint (in the background). Good length.
