The nose is aromatic, well-built and offers power, a small intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, crushed blackberry, crushed black plum associated with small touches of creamy bigarreau cherry, crushed strawberry as well as small touches of tonka bean, fine hints of dry local copse, a very discreet hint of nutmeg and grey pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a good definition, juiciness as well as a beautiful pure fruit, gourmandize, a fine suavity and elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright black cherry, blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of juicy/pulpy black plum, small bright black berries as well as fine hints of dry mild tobacco, local copse, a very discreet hint of chocolate and a subtle hint of grey pepper.
