The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers aromatic concentration and complexity. On the first nose, we find meaty and smoky touches, as well as touches of roasted fruits (roasted cherry, roasted raspberry). Then, the nose expresses notes of crushed fresh blackcurrant, morello cherry and blueberry, fresh tea leaf, a very discreet hint of citrus (tart and smoky, reminiscent of bergamot), black plum, crushed blackberry, violet, lilac, fresh tobacco, and even dark chocolate that appears after aeration. The palate is juicy, fruity and airy. It expresses notes of crushed morello cherry, roasted red cherry, bird cherry in the background, wild blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and blueberry, as well as elegant herbaceous notes of tea leaf and fresh tobacco, dried mint and a slight smoky touch. A floral bouquet (violet, lilac, dried rose) appears discreetly on the persistence. The tannins are structured, quite firm and have a fine grain. Good persistence in the mouth on the tanginess of the red cherry, complemented by a smoky touch.
