Domaine Trévallon is the exception in the midst of an ocean of rosé in Provence, as per their no rosé conviction. This Alpilles Blanc 2015 shows a complex and lively nose as well as a marvelous creamy, almost fat mouthfeel. Vanilla, butter, caramel, lemon, mint, papaya and almonds all have their place in this aromatic wine. It’s an original, but pleasing wine with an open expression and great structure.
