Tahi is the Maori word for “1”. It is made from the parcels of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre on Le Roubau, a rare limestone hillside, and aged for 12 months in French oak barriques. Completely torrefied and empyreumatic, the richness and concentration of the wine are surprising. All kinds of berries and tree bark comes to play along too. The palate is a mix of the bright acidity, the soft texture and the framed full body.
