Domaine Thierry Merlin Cherrier 2023 – Sancerre

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The first nose is reserved, but the wine expresses itself better after aeration. It offers juicy and ripe fruits, with a pleasant acidity (crunchy apricot, white peach, crushed lemon, green apple), white flowers (honeysuckle, apple blossom) and a calcareous mineral touch. The palate is straight, tangy and lively. The attack expresses notes of citrus (lemon, grapefruit, lime in the background), green apple, acacia and apple blossom, associated with a mineral touch of limestone and a note of gooseberries in the background. . The acidity is lively and salivating, the finish is moderately persistent, with good acidity of grapefruit.
