The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a discreetly tight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, bright boysenberry and small notes of violet plum associated with small touches of crushed red berries, rose, vanilla, a hint of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of tea (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh and offers brightness, a small richness/pulpiness of the fruit, a very discreetly tight grain, a good definition, a small racy minerality, an acidulous frame and a beautiful work of bitterness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy boysenberry, juicy/tangy cherry and small notes of bright red currant associated with touches of violet, tonka bean, toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of nutmeg. Tannins are precise, powdery, very fine and structuring. Fine hints of dark chocolate on the finish/persistence.
