The nose is elegant, precise, well-mastered, and offers a fine grain, some spiciness as well as a discreet tightness. The wine beneficiates from being decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, nutmeg, and more slightly – hints of bright red cherry associated with a hint of fresh lily and spices. The mouth is fruity, discreetly tight, and offers juiciness, a nice freshness, energy, and some straightness as well as a good guideline. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, juicy/bright plum, and slight notes of cornflower associated with touches of juicy/tangy blackcurrant as well as hints of lily, clove and sweet spices. Good length. A very discreet hint almost chocolate on the finish.
