The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers freshness and a certain concentration. It first expresses a meaty hint (roasted meat), juicy fruity aromas (fresh strawberry, raspberry, cranberries), associated with a hint of peony, liquorice and lightly toasted wood in the background, as well as a touch of fresh mint. The palate is airy, fluid (in a good way) and juicy. The attack is fruity and supple, but at the same time fresh and tangy – it expresses in particular the flavors of red cherry, raspberry, cranberries and crunchy strawberry. In the mid-palate, we find a very light meaty, floral (peony) and spicy (liquorice, nutmeg) note. The finish is quite persistent, slightly smoky. Beautiful salivating acidity and melted and fine tannins.
