Domaine Stéphane de Sousa Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Le Crétot à Gauche 2022 – Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is expressive, with meaty and slightly smoky notes at the opening. It then offers herbal and floral aromas of rose leaf, blackcurrant bud, fresh mint and violet, as well as a spicy touch of nutmeg and white pepper, enveloped in juicy and tangy fruits (red cherry, cranberries, crushed raspberry, redcurrant). The palate is delicate, airy and fruity, with melted and barely perceptible tannins. We find the meaty and smoky notes at the attack (but less pronounced than on the nose), associated with fruity flavors (red cherry, cranberries, fresh raspberry, redcurrant) and floral (faded rose). The finish is tangy and moderately persistent, on spicy (nutmeg, white pepper) and herbal touches (rose leaf, blackcurrant leaf).
