Domaine Souviou – Signature RJ 2012 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is fine and slightly intense. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry and flowers associated with a touch of olive, licorice and an imperceptible hint of wood / cardamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, juiciness, straightness, a small aerial side, a fine fat and freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy cassis and fresh / fleshy raspberry combined with fine touches of cherry / wild berries as well as a hint of olive tree, licorice and an imperceptible hint of wood/vanilla (in the background). Tannins are very slightly dry / firm.
