The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is aromatic and offers concentration and lemony freshness. It expresses notes of lemon zest, candied lemon peel, lemon juice, as well as green apple, fresh green pear, white flowers (apple blossom, acacia, lily), a touch of white peach. and apricot. After aeration, we find light notes of dried fruit and toast (fresh hazelnut, fresh almond, even a slight touch of apricot kernel), honey in the background and pollen. The palate is savoury, expressive, even dense, complex. It expresses notes of candied lemon peel, lemon zest, crushed green apple, crunchy yellow pear, apricot, white peach, combined with notes of honey, wax, apple blossom, acacia and linden infusion, as well as notes of fresh hazelnut, toasted hazelnut, fresh almond and a discreet hint of vanilla and roasted apple in the background. The finish is quite persistent, tangy, with a nice concentration and an oily texture, balanced by a good bitterness of grapefruit.
