Domaine Siret – Courtaud 2022 – Châteaumeillant

The wine has a ruby color with purple hints. The nose is gourmand, fruity and fresh. It expresses tangy notes of raspberry, bigarreau cherry, red currant, with a touch of cranberries and garriguette strawberry in the background. We also find a note of crushed blackcurrant in the background, associated with a slight spicy (white pepper) and floral (field flowers) hints. The palate is silky, airy, with a juicy, fruity and open attack. The wine expresses flavors of ripe red cherry, crushed raspberry, strawberry, red currant, dried rose and wildflowers, as well as a pleasant peppery note(white pepper) that continues on the finish. The tannins are very supple and fine. Beautiful acidity which refreshes the fairly persistent, fruity and gourmand finish. A pleasant wine, which goes well with many dishes
