The nose is aromatic and offers a small power. It reveals notes of cassis, small wild berries and small notes of flowers / violet associated with touches of spices, hints of nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, frank, well-balanced and offers juiciness, precision, a slight straightness, a small suavity, a beautiful fresh/mineral frame as well as a tannic structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of crushed berries associated with toasted touches, hints of cocoa, flowers as well as a very discreet toasted hint (in the background) and nutmeg. Tannins are well-built. Good length and persistence.
