The nose is aromatic, fine, powerful and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy black cherry, plum and cassis associated with a hint of wild strawberry, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of white pepper and a subtle woody hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful silky, a beautiful delicacy, a slight acid frame, a slight racy minerality as well as a beautiful freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry jam and cassis associated with slight touches of plum, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of juicy red berries, vanilla and a woody hint. Tannins are well-built and very slightly firm. There is a nice caramelization on the persistence.
