The nose is powerful, concentrated, elegant and quite velvety. It reveals notes of plum, cassis and slight touches of black cherry associated with a hint of wild blackberry, subtle woody hints, spices/dust, a hint of tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper and caramelization (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a slight mineral frame, finesse, a slight juiciness, fat as well as a very slight creaminess. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry and plum associated with slight touches of wild raspberry jam as well as a subtle hint of cassis, flowers, toasted oak and mocha (in the background). Tannins are very fine and very slightly dusty. Good length.
