Domaine Seguin-Manuel Clos de Mouches Beaune Premier Cru 2022 – Beaune Premier Cru

The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose is fragrant, subtly woody and floral, with aromas of juicy fruit, even a little sweet. It expresses notes of toasted wood, toasted hazelnut (even caramelized hazelnut in the background), which are complemented by notes of vanilla yogurt, fresh vanilla in the background, acacia flowers, apple blossoms, fresh lemon, candied lemon, white peach and ripe apricots, as well as a touch of limestone in the background. The palate offers a straight and fresh attack, a slightly woody mid-palate and a delicious and fruity finish. We find the flavors of fresh lemon, candied lemon and a touch of grapefruit in the attack, combined with notes of vanilla, yogurt, butter, toasted hazelnut, apple blossom and acacia, as well as tangy apricot and white peach. At the very end of the palate, we feel tangy notes of lime, a salivating acidity, a delicate bitterness, a returning toasted and chalky touch. An airy, precise and complex wine.
