On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright / fleshy strawberry, pulpy / fleshy raspberry and small notes of bright blue plum associated with touches of crushed redcurrants, hints of violet, liquorice / liquorice stick as well as fine hints of tobacco, colas, a discreet hint of star anise and cardamom. Tannins are precise, elegant and offer a certain straightness. Good length and persistence.
