Domaine Sébastien Magnien – Pinot Noir 2019 – Bourgogne

The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers a beautiful definition, a certain purity of the fruit as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy / juicy black cherry, crushed raspberry and small notes of bright blue plum associated with fine touches of crème de cassis, lily, pepper as well as fine hints of nutmeg and star anise. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand, beautifully juicy and offers a nice acidulous frame, gourmandize, tension, a beautiful purity of the fruit as well as a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright / fleshy strawberry, pulpy / fleshy raspberry and small notes of bright blue plum associated with touches of crushed redcurrants, hints of violet, liquorice / liquorice stick as well as fine hints of tobacco, colas, a discreet hint of star anise and cardamom. Tannins are precise, elegant and offer a certain straightness. Good length and persistence.
