Domaine Sangouard-Guyot Saint-Véran « Au Brûle » 2022 – Saint-Véran

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose requires aeration to open. It then expresses the fragrant floral notes: elderflower, honeysuckle and apple blossom, combined with notes of fresh lemon, candied lemon peel, yellow nectarine, apricot, as well as caramelized apple in the background and fresh pineapple. There is also a very delicate touch of vanilla and hazelnut in the background. The palate is chiseled, with a beautiful tangy structure and fresh and gourmand flavors. It expresses notes of lemon zest, lime peel, fresh green apple, as well as tangy apricot, white nectarine and white flowers (apple blossom, acacia, honeysuckle). We also feel a slight lactic hint of lemon yogurt, notes of vanilla and fresh hazelnut in the background. The finish is persistent and expresses a subtle toasted note and a slight bitterness.
