The nose is aromatic, elegant, fine, charming and precisely powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild black berries and slight notes of blueberry associated with a subtle hint of lilac, slight notes of toasted oak, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of liquorice and tobacco. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, suave, silky (like silk!), charming and offers a very beautiful finesse as well as a beautiful fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and juicy cassis associated with slight notes of blueberry, Bigarreau cherry as well as discreet hints of toasted oak, vanilla and liquorice. Tannins are melted. There are notes of dark chocolate powder on the persistence as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization on the aftertaste, which is very slightly powerful. A great success!
