(Grenache, Syrah) The wine has a brilliant ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose expresses concentration and density, but a little reserved and requires aeration. It then expresses notes of roasted fruit (roasted red cherry, roasted red plum) and very ripe fresh fruit (morello cherry, wild strawberry, black plum), associated with a tasty herbaceous side, which brings complexity to the wine (notes of roasted bouquet garni, dried Mediterranean herbs, a touch of garrigue), as well as dried violet, a peppery and earthy hint in the background, as well as a pleasant refreshing touch of bay leaf and eucalyptus. The palate offers volume, generosity and a fleshy and sunny expression of very ripe fruit, while remaining fresh. We find notes of blackcurrant, fresh morello cherry, wild blackberry, wild strawberry, a hint of cherry cherry and prunes, as well as a touch of black pepper, dried violet and a herbaceous hint (bay leaf, roasted bouquet garni, garrigue), which we find at the end of the mouth. The finish is gourmand, quite persistent, slightly sweet (it completes the profile of the wine with discreet notes of dark chocolate). The tannins have structure and tension, but are fine and not drying, thanks to a salivating acidity and good bitterness. Lots of juiciness and gourmandise in this wine, which envelops a well-built structure.
