(100% Chardonnay) The nose is fruity and offers pulpiness, concentration, a certain intensity in finesse and purity. Fine and powerful/intense grain. We find notes of yellow peach, fleshy/fresh white fruit and small notes of crushed apple associated with fine hints of fresh apricot, fresh butter and beeswax as well as a very discreet hint of fresh verbena and a subtle hint of lemongrass. The wine needs to be decanted. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandise, precision, suppleness as well as a beautiful racy and textured grain. It also offers good definition, energy and acidity. In mouth this wine expresses notes of quince, juicy/tangy yellow peach and small notes of tangy small white fruits associated with touches of peach blossom as well as fine hints of ripe citrus, a subtil hint of dried mandarin peel, fine hints of beeswax/vinous and discreet hints of olive tree. Good length. A very discreet hint of butter brioche in the background. Supple, delicate and powerful. Good persistence. A beautifully gourmand and suave wine.
