The nose is intense and offers a nice stretched side as well as a nice finesse and power of the grain. It reveals notes of yellow apple, pulpy mirabelle plum and small toasted-fresh/buttery-fresh notes associated with touches of crushed vine peach as well as nice hints of fresh garrigue and fine iodine hints / racy minerality. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, tension, silkiness, sapidity, precision, gourmandise, a certain aromatic purity, a small fat, a good definition as well as a fine roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of mirabelle plum, physalis and small notes of zest associated with touches of sense of place (local biotop), beeswax, butter and a hint of olive leaf. Good length. Fresh and unctuous persistence. A discreet hint of good bitterness. A wine that benefits from aging.
