Domaine Rolet Côtes du Jura Savagnin 2017 – Côtes du Jura AOP

The wine has an intense golden color, clear and shiny. The first nose is intense with notes of toasted coconut, fresh fig and yellow apple. The nose is aromatic and fresh, typical of the oxidative wines of the region. There are also subtle woody notes. With air, the nose is more composed. We always have this nutty side, like fresh hazelnut with touches of fresh figs but also cream and a hint of sweet spices. On the palate, there is a nice balance. The attack is on acidity with power and roundness. We have notes of butter but also of candied lemon and plum. The finish is salivating, powerful and aromatic. We have fine hints of currant grapes as well as a very beautiful, almost crystalline minerality. It is a wine of indulgence with almost a finish on Cognac’s aromas.
