The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The first nose offers precision and delicacy, complexity and tension. It expresses pronounced but quite subtle notes of oak (fresh wood, toasted hazelnut, fresh almond), associated with touches of acacia honey, fresh wax, white flowers (acacia, hawthorn, apple blossom), as well as with a delicate limestone minerality. On the second nose, the wine expresses gourmet notes of white peach, yellow plum and green apple pulp, associated with tangy notes of lemon juice, lemon zest, lime and grapefruit, as well as ‘with a delicate spicy touch (cardamom, vanilla). The palate offers depth, complexity and concentration, while freshness and balance. It expresses buttery, toasted (toasted hazelnut, toasted wood), milky (fresh butter) notes on the attack, associated with a good bitterness of grapefruit and the tangy side of lemon, lime and green apple in the mid-palate. The finish is sapid, gourmand, slightly bitter and spicy (roasted vanilla, cardamom), with a pleasant oily texture. Good persistence, complex and refined, with notes of browned butter, toasted wood in the background and a lovely supple, but fresh lemony acidity.
