Domaine Roger Belland Santenay Comme-Dessus 2022 – Santenay

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose offers a beautiful lemony freshness and tangy aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit and green apple, combined with touches of white peach and apricot, as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and lightly toasted hazelnut, fresh butter and acacia, which appear in the second nose. The palate is gourmand and balanced, with a juicy attack, on fleshy stone fruits (white peach, apricot) and a lemony, slightly bitter finish (with notes of ripe lemon, lemon cream and lemon zest ). In the mid-palate, we find toasted, vanilla and butter notes, with a discreet hint of toasted wood. The texture on the palate is oily and pleasant, balanced by good bitterness and refreshing acidity. Good persistence.
