The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The first nose offers woody and toasted notes (toasted hazelnut, heated wood), a touch of honey and white flowers (linden blossom, acacia, a hint of chamomile). After aeration, we find notes of lemon zest, candied lemon peel, grapefruit jam and orange zest, associated with ripe and juicy stone fruits (white peach, apricot), a delicate touch of vanilla and nutmeg in the background. The palate is expressive and savoury. The attack offers perceptible woody notes (toasted hazelnut, heated wood), as well as a delicate bitterness and a touch of brown butter. In the mid-palate, we find notes of linden, flower honey (with a hint of wax) and acacia, associated with juicy flavors of yellow peach, white peach, ripe apricot, peel of candied lemon, lemon zest and candied grapefruit. The finish expresses good bitterness, a fine hint of toast and honey, as well as a salivating acidity. Good concentration on the palate, density, a silky texture and fresh acidity.
