Domaine Roger Belland – La Fussière 2021 – Maranges 1er CruNice elegant, aromatic, intense nose, which offers power, brightness, and fine grain. It reveals notes of fresh cherry, violet/peony, and more slightly – notes of creamy violet plum associated with touches of pepper, toast, and an imperceptible hint of clove. The palate is fruity and offers a nice acidity, gourmandize, tangy frame, minerality, energy, and a nice freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy plum, juicy/tangy cherry, and more slightly – notes of raspberry associated with touches of blueberry, small fresh berries, and fresh flowers as well as hints of iodine and fresh blonde tobacco. Nice finish and gourmandise. The finish is all in acidity and sapidity.
