The nose is fresh, racy, precise and offers tension, a nice gourmandise, finesse in its intensity as well as a nice racy, fine and powerful grain. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, bright wild strawberry, and more slightly – hints of licorice associated with touches of crushed berries as well as hints of pepper, racy minerality, and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fresh, mineral, and balanced and offers gourmandize, harmony, delicacy, silkiness, fullness and a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of luscious blackcurrant, morello cherry, and more slightly – hints of violet combined with touches of star anise, mocha, racy minerality and a discreet hint of fresh blond tobacco.
