The wine has a beautiful, bright straw color. The first nose is intense and fragrant with citrus notes such as mandarin, grapefruit, and juicy ripe lemon. There are also subtle hints of butter and toasted vanilla. The second nose opens with touches of almond, fresh apple, juicy yellow peach, and roasted hazelnut. The palate is fresh and the attack is lively, round, and aromatic with notes of juicy ripe lemon, apricot, yellow peach, pineapple, and fresh mango. There is a beautiful, salivating, saline acidity through to the finish. The finish is delicate with peach pit and lemon blossom. There is also a hint of butter and pine sap. Decanting could give the wine a chance to express itself better. This is a great wine with great finesse and structure.
