Domaine Roger Belland – Comme-Dessus 2018 – Santenay

The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers delicacy, a beautiful definition and a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of dry lemon, kumquat, small notes of lychee seed associated with fine touches of rose, peach flowers as well as fine hints of wild fruits, a very fine hint of orange and an imperceptible hint of spices/pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, a beautiful finesse/precision and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy quince, juicy/pulpy kumquat, small notes of crunchy green apple associated with touches of peach flowers as well as fine hints of racy minerality, a discreet hint of peach flowers as well as fine hints of racy minerality, a discreet hint of candied Mirabelle and an imperceptible hint of small yellow flowers. Good length.
