The nose is fruity and offers power, a certain gourmandize as well as a fine and relatively powerful grain. It reveals notes of fleshy cherry, ripe wild strawberry, and more slightly – notes of luscious blackcurrant associated with fine touches of violet, pear and a discreet hint of mocha. The palate is fruity and offers a nice juiciness, a nice freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, harmony as well as silkiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, pulpy blackberry and more slightly – notes of creamy plum associated with touches of cornflower as well as a very discreet hint of coffee on the finish. Good length. A wine that is nicely fruity. Nice sapidity.
