Domaine Rochevine 2018 – Saint-Joseph

The nose is fruity and offers a fine grain, intensity as well as concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of small red berries, crunchy red cherry as well as hints of racy minerality, olive tree/sense of the place and slight hints of tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, gourmandize as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of roasted, sage as well as hints grey pepper. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
