The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of raspberry jam associated with slight touches of toasted oak, Bourbon vanilla s well as a hint of Tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, slightly gourmand, well-balanced and offers a small fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy cassis and slight notes of strawberry associated with a very discreet hint of plum, toasted/vanilla and a very discreet hint of iodine minerality on the finish. Tannins are well-built.
