Domaine Rapet 2020 – Aloxe-Corton

Nice fresh, refined nose which offers a nice definition/purity of the fruit, deepness as well as a certain elegance in its well-mastered richness. It reveals notes of crushed cherry, fleshy raspberry, and more slightly – hints of violet associated with touches of crunchy plum, slight hints of cornflower, sweet spices, and toast as well as discreet hints of racy minerality and flowers. The mouth is nicely defined and offers delicacy, silkiness, a slight richness, a nice acidity as well as a nice purity and precision of the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, small bright red berries, and more slightly – hints of cornflower, juicy/fleshy blueberry associated with slight touches of vanilla, toasted notes as well as discreet hints of minerality/almost iodized. The tannins offer some chewiness. Good length. Pretty juiciness, radiance, and freshness. Congratulations!
