The nose is fresh and offers a certain intensity, a nice finesse of grain as well as a certain power (all in mastery). There are notes of crushed peach, pulpy apple and small notes of apple blossom, combined with hints of lemon blossom, sweet citrus fruits and fine, almost lemon curd-like notes (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and reveals freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a tangy frame, a nice definition, a nice grain and a certain richness in finesse. All in mastery and precision. Almost a discrete “restrained” side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of sweet quince, crushed peach and small notes of crushed/sweet berries, combined with hints of passion fruit, a subtle hint of apricot blossom and a very discreet minerality (which brings a nice freshness). A subtle hint of crushed Mirabelle plum in the background, of toastiness and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. Nice persistence. A subtle hint of varietal flavour prolongs / softens the finish.
