The nose is fresh and racy. There are lovely notes of gunflint/terroir, fresh apple and small notes of fresh/juicy berries combined with fine touches of lemon, zest and discreet hints of quince. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, finely crafted and offers juiciness, acidity, energy, pep, a nice roundness, a chiselled side, some volume, good definition as well as tension in finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quenette, juicy/fresh vine peach and small notes of quince combined with delicate touches of lemon, mesocarp, zest as well as fine nuances of racy/almost saline minerality, flint as well as fine points of fresh kumquat and a subtle hint of exotic fruit (in the background). Good length. Nice smoothness and sapidity on the finish/persistence.
