The nose is fruity and offers richness (while remaining elegant and subtle), a certain concentration and mastery as well as a fine straightness. There are notes of quince, ripe apricot and, more slightly, grapefruit, combined with fine touches of sweet lemon, a subtle hint of salt, discreet hints of white flowers, crushed almonds and an imperceptible touch of orange blossom and fresh verbena. The palate is fruity, precise, well conducted and reveals elegance, good definition, roundness and a fine restraint. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, pulpy mirabelle plum and, more slightly, quince, combined with delicate touches of crushed green apple, apple blossom, a hint of apricot, citrus zest, a subtle touch of verbena, acacia blossom, salinity and an imperceptible hint of fresh pepper (in the background) and almond. Good length. A subtle, almost tannic touch on the finish, both in terms of structure and aroma. A chalky touch on the finish/persistence.
