Domaine Raoul Gautherin 2020 – Chablis

The nose is fruity and offers juiciness, brightness and a pretty fruit. There are notes of quince, fresh/crunchy Mirabelle plum and more lightly fresh/juicy peach combined with hints of juicy lychee and apple blossom and a touch of crushed berries. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals juiciness, acidity, gourmandize, tension, volume, energy, fleshy/pulpy fruit and a discreet airiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed green apple, crushed vine peach and, more lightly, quince, combined with delicate touches of kumquat, quenette, bright yellow berries and a fine hint of carambola. Good length. Good acidic persistence.
