The nose is elegant, fruity, silky, racy and offers gourmandize, a fine richness, a small intensity as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, plum, violet and small notes of fleshy blueberry associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, hints of lilac, Sichuan pepper as well as discreet hints of chocolate, toasted, caramelization and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco (on the finish). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers a good definition, juiciness, tension, a fine unctuosity as well as a mineral/juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy plum and small notes of juicy blueberry, juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of strawberry, flowers, fine hints of toasted, caramelization as well as very discreet hints of vanilla and chocolate. Tannins are elegant. Good length.
