The nose is fruity and offers a small complexity, a small richness, gourmandize as well as a small fleshiness and a good definition. It reveals notes of crushed plum, crushed strawberry, small notes of crushed blackberry associated with fine touches of crushed red berries, small crushed black fruits as well as a hint of violet/lily, a discreet hint of fig, tonka bean, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of vanilla pod. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a beautiful racy minerality, a small freshness as well as precision, a fine straightness and a beautiful roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy violet plum, small notes of raspberry associated with a touch of small crushed black fruits, pulpy/juicy cherry as well as fine hints of toasted, chocolate, nutmeg and a discreet hint of hazelnut. Tannins are well-built. A subtle hint of flint and tonka bean on the finish. Good length.
