The nose is aromatic, elegant, slightly concentrated / intense and offers a fine density as well as a nice grain. It reveals notes of crushed plum, crushed boysenberry and strawberry combined with a subtle touch of small red berries, chocolate touches, touches of toasted wood / vanilla and a subtle touch of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame, a nice straightness, a nice definition, tension, a nice fat as well as a beautiful finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and crushed raspberry combined with slight touches of strawberry, subtle hints of blueberry / red berries as well as chocolate touches, toasted oak, a subtle hint of blond tobacco and a discreet hint of spices. Tannins are well-built, fine, elegant and supple. Good length. Beautiful aromatic persistence, gourmand and chewy. A beautiful wine!
