The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The first nose expresses a distinct minerality of calcareous rock (even slightly chalky), associated with aromas of green apple, gooseberries, a slight touch of passion fruit in the background, as well as notes of tangy apricot and ripe citrus fruits (yellow lemon, grapefruit, Meyer lemon) and white flowers (acacia, apple blossom). The palate is savoury, and offers a nice refreshing acidity, but not nervous, the accuracy of flavors and precision. It expresses the flavors of white peach, tangy apricot, lemon zest, grapefruit, green apple and gooseberries. In the mid-palate the wine offers a pronounced minerality of limestone and chalk, as well as a fine floral bouquet (apple blossom, acacia). The finish is tangy, with notes of fresh citrus and citrus zest, with a good bitterness. Beautiful expression of terroir and lots of freshness.
