Domaine PetitJean – Sauvignon Blanc 2018 – Saint-Bris

The nose is fruity, finely tight and offers a good definition as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of fleshy nectarine, dry kumquat zests, lemon, small notes of lemon flowers associated with very discreet hints of racy minerality and a subtle hint of apple flowers. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame juiciness, a fine tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous quince, juicy/acidulous green apple, small notes of lychee associated with small touches of kumquat, apple flowers, discreet hints of pear, lemon flowers as well as an imperceptible hint of elderflower and toasted. Good length. A very discreetly tight and fine almost tannic sensation on the finish.
