Domaine Peter Sichel – Montanha – IGP Pays de Cucugnan

(AB. 100% Grenache) The nose is spicy, frank, racy and offers a beautiful purity in its definition. We find notes of small wild red fruits, sweet pepper and small notes of clove associated with delicate spices, hints of cornflower as well as a subtle hint of olive tree, sense of place (local biotope) / fresh grove and an imperceptible hint of mandarin leaf. The palate is nicely built, supple, elegant and offers brilliance, a beautiful pulpiness, delicacy, a spherical and coating touch, freshness, as well as a beautiful definition of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy redcurrants, pulpy/juicy cherry and small notes of cornflowers associated with touches of spices, fresh strawberry, a hint of olive tree, hazelnut as well as a subtle hint almost arbutus in its acidity (fruits of the strawberry tree) and discreet hints almost mandarin. Presence of a hint of good bitterness and almost garrigue on the persistence.
