The nose is fruity, elegant and offers juiciness as well as a slight straightness. It reveals notes of redcurrant / red berries and touches of cassis, plum associated with slight touches of spices as well as a touch of gray pepper / Sichuan pepper and a very discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, a bit aerial, relatively juicy / crunchy and offers a nice mineral frame, elegance, finesse as well as a nice matter and a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh red berries / redcurrants, raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with slight notes of cassis, touches of racy minerality (almost saline), subtle / very discreet hints of ripe almond and an imperceptible touch of caramelization / liquorice. There is a very discreet hint of bitterness on the finish. Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Good length. Good potential!
