Domaine Ninot – Les Crêts 2019 – Mercurey 1er Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers purity, a good definition as well as a beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, crushed redcurrant and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of violet, vanilla, racy minerality/terroir as well as discreet hints of pepper and sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, silkiness, finesse, delicacy, a nice finesse of the grain as well as a small richness (in finesse/lightness). On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, pulpy/tangy redcurrant, and small notes of juicy/tangy blueberry associated with small touches of pulpy strawberry as well as hints of liquorice, slight hints of salinity/sapidity, discreet hints of vanilla. Tannins are precise, elegant and suave. A beautiful sapidity on the finish/persistence.
