The nose is aromatic, elegant, quite gourmand and offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, dried / fleshy strawberry and small notes of Quetsche plum, crushed raspberry combined with slight hints of violet, blueberry, licorice stick, discreet hints of tobacco, very discreet hints of undergrowth as well as an imperceptible hint of almond and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, a beautiful minerality, suavity, a beautiful precision, tension, a small linear side as well as a beautifully fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of plum, black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of ripe wild strawberry, cherry as well as discreet hints of liquorice, sweet blond tobacco, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of almond (on the finish). Good length.
